Burglars steal cash in pub raid

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a pub in North Tyneside.

News from Northumbria Police

Intruders forced their way in to the Coach and Horses pub on High Street East in Wallsend in the early hours of Tuesday, June 21, between 2.05am and 3.05am.

They stole an undisclosed amount of cash from gaming machines and pool table causing a significant amount of damage before leaving unseen.

Officers are carrying our enquiries in the area and are appealing for help from the public.

Police are appealing for witnesses, anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police.
