Bosses at a business park are on the road to further success thanks to popularity of transport links.

Figures show a 15 per cent increase in year on year growth in Go North East buses at Cobalt Business Park.

The park – home to businesses including Accenture, Proctor & Gamble, Hewlett Packard, EE and Santander – welcomed Utilitywise and Siemens last year.

Lynn Cramman, business development manager at the park, said: “We have 600 bus services coming through the park daily, connecting to over 40 key residential destinations.

“The bus services in and around Cobalt Business Park have helped our business retain our staff as well as helping with staff recruitment.

Mark Ellis, development manager for Go North East, said: “Here at Cobalt Business Park we’ve got real passenger growth thanks to a combination of innovation and partnership working.

“We’ve got a really attractive bus offer for people working at Cobalt and its great news to hear that the list of occupiers is growing.”
