A HUSBAND and wife are singing to the sound of success after marking the first anniversary of their newest shop after starting out in smaller premises.
Beth and Dave Arnott-Mellish opened enjoymuzic in Royal Quays Outlet Centre, in North Shields, just 12 months ago as the area’s only outlet scheme.
They provide musical instruments, accessories, songbooks, exam materials and music gifts in their ‘one sop hop’ musical shopping experience.
Dave said: “We decided to set-up the company about five years ago.
“Beth studied music at university and together we really wanted to combine our passion for music, business experience and knowledge to create a great brand founded on quality and good advice.
“We started off in a little store in Cullercoats but we wanted larger premises and promote our offering to more people so we made the move to Royal Quays.”
Royal Quays’ centre manager, Judith Ramshaw, said: “We were thrilled to welcome enjoymuzic to Royal Quays last year and it’s fantastic to see the store go from strength-to-strength over the last 12 months.
“We welcome opportunities to work with local retailers to develop flexible packages to suit their individual needs and help where we can with areas such as store presentation, marketing and promotion.”
