A North Tyneside business is using its expertise to deliver world class training for emergencies.

New incident management training is set for the energy sector, run by a company partnership.

Industrial training company AIS Training and safety and security specialist Restrate will be joining forces to deliver a new skills set to employees.

A number of training courses will be held for the oil, gas, wind and nuclear industries, put together by the pair.

Gavin Taylor, commercial director at AIS Training, said: “When an emergency strikes it is imperative that people are trained to the very highest standards in order to minimise damage. This is particularly important in high-risk industries, like oil and gas or wind, and we were finding an increasing number of our clients demanding training to improve their management of emergency situations.

“It is a highly specialised area and that’s why we’re delighted to be joining forces with Restrata. With Restrata’s expertise we will now be able to develop and deliver world-class incident management training to our clients.”

AIS will be able to tap into Restrata’s expertise to train its global client-base.

For Restrata, the partnership allows it to use AIS’ unique capabilities to expand and include its own virtual reality training.

Will Follett, vice president at Restrata said: “This partnership will see us combining forces to deliver better solutions for our clients worldwide.”
