Storage firm extension plans approved

A BUSINESS which specialises in document storage has been granted planning permission by North Tyneside Council to extend its premises.

Datastor, in Benton Square Industrial Estate, Holystone, has received full planning approval from the authority’s planning department to extend its warehouse and offices.

In addition to the extended warehouse, a new reception, office and a staff welfare and training room will be built.

The purpose built training room will offer online web based database training to clients and employees.

Shaun Turnbull, manager of Datastor, said: “This is excellent news for Datastor.

“Our aim is to be able to increase our customer base and to provide an enhanced service to our existing clients.”

The increased capacity means that Datastor are now looking for new clients.
