Budding entrepreneurs can now get a virtual peek into a business support centre thanks to a local photographer and Google.
The North Shields base for North Tyneside Council’s Business Factory has taken advantage of a Google Maps Business View virtual tour of the centre, allowing anyone to ‘visit’ from their computer, tablet or smartphone.
The virtual tour feature will increase The Business Factory’s online visibility, and will also allow visitors to see what the centre offersNorth Tyneside Council’s head of business and economic development, Paul Buie
The tour, produced by photographer Adrian Don of 360DegreesNorth, gives visitors an interactive, 360-degree view via Google or the Factory’s website.
North Tyneside Council’s head of business and economic development, Paul Buie, added: “The North Tyneside Business Factory provides support, help and guidance to get North Tyneside businesses up and running.
“The virtual-tour feature will increase The Business Factory’s online visibility, and will also allow visitors to see what the centre offers, including our meeting and conference rooms.”
Adrian said: “Getting a Business View tour is simple, fast and inexpensive, with just a one-off charge and no recurring or hidden fees, and tours can easily be embedded in websites and social media pages.
“Business View increases visibility across Google not only with the actual tour, but also by enhancing the appearance of search results, helping with improving search rankings, and featuring on a business’s Google+ page.”
“Customers also get a set of professional still images of their business or organisation which they can use for any purpose, at no extra cost which can be very useful for a new business.”
