A Tynemouth school is bringing back its popular car boot sale.

Kings Priory School, under its predecessor school, regularly hosted the sales in the grounds of the Huntington Place site.

Now officials are looking to re-establish the popular activity, with a sale taking place on Saturday, June 11, from 10am to 1pm.

There are more than 30 spaces available for sellers, for just £10.

Spaces must be prebooked by calling 0191 258 9106 or emailing KPSenquiryline@kps.woodard.co.uk

Members of the public are also invited to browse and buy for just 50p entry (under 16s go free).

Jonny Hall, marketing officer at the school, said: “We have decided to test the waters again and if it proves popular, we hope to establish it as a regular monthly feature.”

“It also gives us an opportunity to showcase some of our new school facilities, including the incredible new high street-style coffee shop in our Sixth Form centre.”
