A car showroom is preparing to move 300 yards as it makes way for a new supermarket.
Foxhunters Cars has been in Foxhunters Road, Whitley Bay, for eight years but is now moving all its operations to a second site further down the road as Aldi begins preparations for the site.

Malcolm Stewart, and his son, will be spending the Easter weekend moving the cars ahead of the new-look operation from April 7.
Malcolm was keen to stress that the business, which employs another two people, will continue to operate.
“Most people think we’re finished after they saw the plans for Aldi,” he said.
“Our second site may only be half the size but we’re determined to make a good go of it.
“We can get around 35 cars on the plot.
“We’ve been in Whitley Bay for eight years now but business has halved since the plans were first mooted last year.”
It is anticipated work to clear the current site could start in the middle of April, with the new Aldi store opening in August.
The mutli-million pound store will create 30 new jobs while there will be a 73-space car park and new pelican crossing on Shields Road.
