Residents are being offered the chance to give their views on local transport and quiz officials.
The North Tyneside Transport Forum meeting takes place on Saturday,January 24, from 10.30am to 12.30 at Wallsend Customer First Centre.
The main item for discussion will be accessibility to bus and metro stations and local bus stops.
There will also be a short talk, with time for questions, by Tobyn Hughes, whose new role includes the responsibilities of director-general of Nexus and developing public transport integration between Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and Durham.
Coun Frank Lott, cabinet member for economic development, said: “Good public transport is absolutely essential to everyone living and working in North Tyneside.
“I hope as many people as possible take the opportunity to come along and give their views.”
Fiona Swindell, chair of the Forum, said: “I look forward to seeing people from across North Tyneside at the meeting, which is their opportunity to join in the discussion around public transport services and work together to promote travel by public transport.”
The North Tyneside Transport Forum is organised by North Tyneside Council.
Representatives of public transport operators will also be at the meeting and people will have the chance to suggest topics for issues they would like discussed in the future.
