Charities benefit from generous churchgoers in Monkseaton

Hundreds of pounds has been raised for charity by church officials.

The Palliative Care Ward at North Tyneside General Hospital, Marie Curie Whitley Bay and Daft as a Brush charity all received £500 each from St Andrew’s Church, in Monkseaton.

The church’s activities team raises money for charities through a robust annual programme of events held at the church in Eastfield Avenue. The church is now selecting local charities for 2018.
