Hundreds of people attended a business park’s biggest ever Christmas market.
More than 850 people visited the event at Quorum, in Longbenton, where they were treated to a complimentary mince pie and glass of mulled win.
There was more than 40 stalls offering tasty treats, gifts and lunches. As well as crepes, cupcakes and churros, pies and ales were available with stalls from the New Zealand Pie Co and Prince of Pies and the Northumberland Brewery, amongst others.
Benton Cat and Dog Shelter gave advice on how the community could support the charity over the Christmas period.
Metro Radio’s Kenny D provided festive music and there was a performance by the singers of Longbenton Community College choir.
Quorum events manager Laura Barber said: “This was our most successful market to date – we couldn’t believe the crowds.”
“People were out in force making the most of the different festive foods on offer, whilst generally enjoying the festive cheer.
“Hopefully we’ve succeeded in getting everyone geared up for the Christmas season.”
