Former pupils are being invited to share their memories of times gone by at a school reunion next month.
Pupils who attended the former Linden Preparatory School in Forest Hall are invited to the get-together on Saturday, September 21.
The school opened in 1952 and in 1962 Colonel Alex Johnson took over and under his instruction made it one of the best preparatory schools in the area.
Col Johnson retired in 1996 and his daughter Susan Inness, then deputy head, took over.
It was at this time that the school became part of Dame Allans, but the Linden name lived on until 2005.
When Susan retired that year, Linden officially became Dame Allans Junior School.
Col Johnson, now aged 94, is said to be excited at the prospect of seeing as many of his old pupils as possible and some are travelling from different countries to attend.
