College in need of new governor

WALLSEND’S Tyne Metropolitan College is on the lookout for a new governor.

College officials are looking for a volunteer with business experience willing to give future generations of students the benefit of their time and skills.

Governors’ chairman Bill Midgley said: “TyneMet is going from strength to strength.

“Joining the board at this time would give a new governor an ideal opportunity to contribute to the college’s future plans.”
