Software designed by a North Shields company has been named the ‘One to Watch’ in this year’s UK Construction Computing Awards.

Kykloud’s mobile surveying and asset management software has enjoyed phenomenal growth over the last 12 months and is now used by five of the UK’s top ten surveying firms on schemes around the world.

The Construction Computing Awards showcase the technology and tools used to help civil engineering projects.

Judges described Kykloud as a new and exciting application, and the first of many that the construction industry is likely to see in the coming years, making the application one to watch.

Nick Graham, co-founder of Kykloud, said: “Kykloud is changing the way in which surveyors carry out condition assessments and manage complex data.

“A job that would have taken three hours can now take as little as 60 minutes and the industry is recognising that technology like ours cannot only save time but increase accuracy and efficiency.

“Recognition from an expert industry judging panel that our software is game changing, cements the hard work of the growing team who helped develop this product.”
