Concern growing for missing teenager

Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing teenager last seen in North Tyneside.

Shelby Hill, missing from Jarrow but last seen in North Tyneside.

Shelby Hill, 15, was last seen at an address in North Tyneside at around 9pm on April 30, but failed to return to an address in Inverness Road, Jarrow, where she had been staying.

She was reported missing at 11pm the same day and police have been carrying out enquiries in both Northumbria and Durham to try and trace her whereabouts.

Officers and Shelby’s family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and are now asking for help from the public.

Shelby, of Park Parade, Whitley Bay, is described as white, of slim build, around 5ft 2in tall and with medium length brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue top, black leggings and navy trainers.

Shelby, or anyone who has seen her, should contact police on 101 quoting reference 1318 30/04/16.
