£10,000 cannabis farm found in borough

A CANNABIS farm worth around £10,000 has been found in Forest Hall.

The farm was found on Monday night at an address in Edwins Avenue South and a 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled drug

Around 100 plants were found in the property.

Acting Neighbourhood Inspector Martin Brooks, who covers the area, said: “We will not tolerate drugs supply or drugs production in our communities and continue to take robust action against those involved.

“If anyone has any concerns about drugs being produced or drug dealing in their area they should contact police on 101 so we can take action against those responsible.”
