Crusaders saw Paul Wells return at full-back with Bruce Parker filling in at scrum half.

In the pack Arnie Wilson returned at prop with Mike Hudspeth and Sam Condie completing the back row.

Ravens only had nine players so the Crusaders gave them all six of their subs to make it 15-a-side.

The unusual back row for Ravens featured Joe Mehaffey, James Grant and Andrew Adderley.

Crusaders scored 54 unanswered points in the first half with tries from Kyle Wharton, Peter Finlay, Richard Sampson, Andy Miller, Matthew Padden (2) and Bruce Parker (2).

In the second half Finlay got his second try, Padden completed his hat-trick and James Grant also scored.

Ravens scored twice to give a final score of 75-14.

On Saturday Crusaders are again in league action with a trip to Sunderland 3rds XV, kick-off 3pm.
