DANCERS: Generous support

The Monkseaton Morrismen wish to thank all those who attended their annual performance outside The Ship and Black in Monkseaton Village on New Year’s morning. It was the 48th year we have performed.

You were a brilliant audience and with your support and generosity we raised £1,000, which we will split between a prostate cancer research charity and the Whitley Bay Foodbank.

We must also thank the audiences in the Monkseaton Arms, Front Street Tap House and the Left Luggage Room who gave generously.

We are looking for new members and practice on a Monday, at 8pm, at the Scout HQ, Norfolk Street, North Shields.

Happy New Year.

Peter Brown

Squire, Monkseaton Morrismen
