In their report, inspectors recognised pupils achieved exceptionally well, leadership and management is highly effective and the quality of teaching is outstanding.
They were very impressed by the children’s excellent behaviour at all times, both in and out of class. The children are ‘very happy and display really positive attitudes to their learning’. They are ‘proud to be members of their welcoming school community’ and are eager to come to school, arrive on time, and feel safe both in school, and when on trips or visits.
Teaching was found to be outstanding and never less than good. Lessons are carefully planned to meet the different needs of all groups of pupils.
Headteacher Colette Bland said: “It’s a joy and a privilege to be the headteacher where we are blessed with dedicated, hard working staff, enthusiastic, well motivated children and loyal supportive parents.
“It’s the combination of all these elements that makes our school a special place.”
“I’m delighted that Ofsted recognise that our school is Outstanding.”
