Eight apprentices are celebrating after landing positions with a growing company.
Capita Symonds took on the eight as part of its partnership with North Tyneside Council, which began last November.
Two apprentices joined in April, with a further six taking up their posts. They are Sean Parker, 19, of Blyth; Chris Fairless, Andrew Ridley, 20, Melissa Nilson, 18, all of North Shields; Mathew Tait, 19, of Whitley Bay; Laura Oliver, 17, of Holystone; Louise Collins, 19, of Newcastle; and Jack Thomas, 19, of Sunderland.
Barry Pilkington, Capita Symonds operations director, said: “We recognise not only the benefits that apprenticeships provide to young people, but the fact that these people represent the future of our company.”
