Event to discuss nature reserve issues

A special community event is being held to discuss issues around a nature reserve.

North Tyneside Council and Whitley Bay Neighbourhood Policing Team are inviting residents to the meeting.

It will take place at Marden Quarry on Wednesday, July 30, at 6pm, to discuss matters relating to the reserve.

Before the meeting there is an opportunity to join the council’s Parks Development Officer for a walk around the quarry, to find out more about its management and maintenance.

The walk sets off at 5pm from the car park, with the meeting beginning at 6pm in the Scout Hut at the quarry.

Marden Quarry is accessed via Broadway, Whitley Bay.
