John Crummie, passenger director for DFDS Seaways, said: “This is a fantastic endorsement from the UK’s leading independent consumer body.
“Customer service is a high priority for us and we strive to deliver an excellent customer service and value for money across all of our UK routes.
“We aim for our guests to have an enjoyable experience and are delighted this has been recognised.
“As part of our determination to continually improve, we encourage all of our customers to fill in customer feedback forms, which we review on a regular basis and implement changes where necessary, so that our services will always be first rate.”
DFDS Seaways operates daily sailings each way from North Shields to Amsterdam, with ferries also operating from Harwich and Dover.
