RESIDENTS in the Wallsend area are being given a chance to make decisions on road and pavement improvements.
Over the last few months, discussions have been taking place on how Wallsend Area Forum should spend its £250,000 road and pavements budget.
The forum is meeting on Wednesday to make a final decision on which works should be carried out during the 2013-14 financial year.
Also during the meeting, residents will hear about plans for future house building in the south west area and give their views on the council’s new waste strategy.
The local neighbourhood policing team will be on hand with an update on recent initiatives.
The meeting takes place in Wallsend Memorial Hall, Frank Street, with doors opening at 5.30pm for refreshments.
The formal meeting will take place from 6pm to 8pm.
