Freedom of speech: People are allowed to have different views

What is it with people like Terry White who seems to think there is only one view – his and those he likes? (News Guardian, December 10).

I do not support Pegida, nor organisations like it, but it is not a proscribed organisation and is entitled to its view, which I disagree with.

However, the UK is a free country and people can speak freely, unless the law says otherwise.

People have different views, which, in a free society, they should be able to express, provided it does not break the law.

Those who don’t like a free society should go to North Korea. I am sure Kim Johng-un would welcome them.
