A new scheme has been launched by Shiremoor-based Vauxhall dealership Evans Halshaw to help people sell their cars.
‘Sell Your Car’, which will have dedicated buying assistants, has been introduced to provide a face-to-face selling experience rather than an automated car valuation approach offered online.
The new scheme will create one permanent and one part-time job at the dealership.
Residents can visit the new ‘Sell Your Car’ area, where they can have a one-to-one with the dedicated buying assistant to ensure they are getting the best advice when it comes to selling or upgrading their current vehicles.
Jason Stewart, dealer principal at Evans Halshaw Shiremoor, said: “When it comes to selling your car there are a number of things to bear in mind, from whether you are getting a good price to dealing with the emotional attachment a well-loved car might hold.
“We understand this and so won’t use complicated online valuations to guess what your car’s worth.
“We’ve decided to adopt the same approach to buying cars as we do to selling them, and taking things back to basics by using real people.
