A fun-filled summer programme is under way at North Tyneside Disability Forum.
The organisation is not only continuing its weekly arts and crafts sessions for people of all abilities and disabilities, but it is also running a Young People’s Summer Extravaganza.
The art sessions take place at Shiremoor Centre every Wednesday, from 1pm to 3pm, offering free painting, sketching and sculpting classes. Visiting tutors and regular volunteers run the activities, and there are also refreshments.
The extravaganza offers a range of free activities and events for young people throughout the summer holidays, from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday.
The programme has been put together by young people, who took part in fundraising events to support it.
