LAST Friday I was dropping some rubbish from my car into the dump in Wallsend Road, North Shields, when I realised I had dropped my car key.
I had no spare, no money and no phone. Paul, the man with the brush, was very sympathetic and said he would help.
In the end a colleague went inside the rubbish tip, crawled up the mountain of waste, grovelled about in it, and eventually retrieved the key.
Beyond the call of duty I think. Thanks to all who helped.
