A WHITLEY Bay man describing himself as a ‘spice boy’ is preparing to flex his muscles for an appearance on a TV show.

MTV has unveiled the eight men and women who make up their new show Geordie Shore, including heating engineer and plumber Greg Lake.

They will live in a ‘five-star’ house complete with shared bedrooms and a hot-tub.

Single Greg, nicknamed Snakers Lakers, admits to spending up to five nights a week out in Newcastle.

The 26-year-old, a passionate Newcastle United supporter, even sold his bachelor pad to give him extra cash to spend on nights out with the lads, now living in a shared flat.

Greg lists his most prized possessions as his wardrobe of expensive clothes and his black BMW, complete with personalised number plate.

He also hits the gym four times a week and drinks protein shakes to help build up his muscle, but would never bulk up too much.

Greg also eats all his meals out, including breakfast, as he hates to cook. He is a staunch non-smoker.

Inspired by hit US show Jersey Shore, Newcastle is the latest stomping ground as cameras follow the eight people for six weeks of partying.

The other seven cast of Geordie Shore are Jay, Gaz, James, Vicky, Holly, Charlotte, and Sophie.

The show will launch on MTV on Tuesday, May 24, at 10am.
