A teenager is celebrating after being named Miss Junior Teen Great Britain 2015.
Harriotte Lane, from West Allotment, beat off competition from 40 other finalists to take home the prestigious crown.
The 14-year-old dazzled judges with her personality and also won the award for Best in Interview, Miss Junior Teen Publicity Queen and Miss Junior Teen Charity.
Since becoming a finalist and winning her Tyne & Wear title, Harriotte has volunteered in her local community more than 100 times, raising £25,000 for charities in the last two years.
Holly Pirrie, director of Miss Teen Great Britain, said: “I am thrilled for Harriotte and she truly deserved to win.
“The fundraising and volunteer work that Harriotte has done in her community is truly outstanding and she is an excellent role model for teenagers across Great Britain.”
Harriotte also won £250, a £250 voucher to spend at The Dress Studio, a luxury pamper hamper, a box of personalised cupcakes and several other prizes.
