Residents are being invited to have their say on the future of NHS urgent care services in North Tyneside.
A consultation event is taking place at Wallsend Customer First Centre on Wednesday, December 2, from 6pm to 7pm, with NHS decision makers on hand to discuss four alternative scenarios for the future of local services.
Possible scenarios are for a single urgent care centre based at either North Tyneside General Hospital or Battle Hill, with the possibility of a centre being supported by locally based minor ailments services in other three areas of the borough.
The consultation launched last month and runs until January 21, 2016, including a further drop-in planned for Wednesday, December 9, from 10am to 11am, at Whitley Bay Customer First Centre.
People can also share their views by letter, email or phone, with further details available from www.northtynesideccg.nhs.uk/urgentcare, firstname.lastname@example.org or 0191 217 2670.
