A former Whitley Bay woman is preparing to put on her running shoes to help raise money for two charities.
Jayne Storey, who now lives in Manchester, and her partner Richard will be running 69 miles along Hadrian’s Wall from Whitehaven in Cumbria to Tynemouth in one day.
Both charities are small and therefore funding is needed to keep these projects aliveJayne Storey
Jayne, who has completed a number of marathons, is aiming to complete the challenge on Saturday, June 20, to raise money for the Congo Children Trust and Jacobs Well.
Jayne said: “This challenge is one of pure mental ability. The head will truly rule the heart. This run is purely to raise funds for two small charities that I work with.
“Both charities are small and funding is needed to keep these projects alive.”
