Tynemouth ASC's Justin Ross, third row far right, has been selected for the county team.

Justin Ross will be taking part in the finals in London.

Back in November he was picked for the county team to swim the 50m breaststroke, where he came third behind Yorkshire and Cheshire.

Overall he swam three races and recorded a personal best in the breaststroke.

This is the second time Ross has swam for the county.

A Tynemouth spokesman said they are proud of his achievements as he returned to swimming after 25 years out of the sport.

Anyone interested in joining the club should call at Tynemouth Pool on a Sunday at noon to get involved.
