Lee aiming to help offshore training

A new sales manager is looking to help a company deal with the increasing demand for its training solutions.

Maersk Training, based on the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate, has appointed Lee Atkinson as head of sales and marketing.

Lee, who was previously head of partnerships for Fleetcor’s International Reseller Business, will be responsible for driving forward sales growth within the maritime, wind, and oil and gas industries, as well as co-ordinating all UK marketing activity and product development.

He said: “Maersk Training has an exceptional reputation in the energy industry for delivering market leading training, and I look forward to supporting the team.

“My focus is to develop a scalable sales and marketing strategy that allows for a proactive response to customer, market and regulatory demands. We have ambitious growth plans which I have no doubt we can achieve.”
