Making a difference
A north east disability charity is enjoying the full force of the law.
For the Percy Hedley Foundation has received yet more support from Newcastle law firm Bond Dickinson.
The firm has previously given £1,600, Easter eggs and awards sponsorship to the charity.
And now it has given £427 to go towards social enterprise projects and iMUSE (Interactive Multi-Sensory Environments) technology, which helps people with physical and profound learning disabilities through music and visuals. It is available at the service in North Shields, but new portable equipment would make it more accessible.
Asmah Baig, of Bond Dickinson, said: “We wanted to work with a charity that does serious things and really makes a difference.”
