A borough expert is celebrating ten years at top of her profession.
Samantha Lee, from North Shields, has been providing equality and diversity training to a range of organisations since 2005 and was one of the north east’s first experts in the field.
Now Samantha has re-launched her company, Ora Training, to provide extra services for charities and not-for-profit organisations, as well as business sectors that need advice on understanding and benefiting from equality legislation.
She plans to recruit around five members of staff.
Samantha said: “We focus on empowering people positively, rather than focusing on what not to do. Our programmes provide an understanding of the Equality Act, with practical measures that any organisation can implement, allowing them to benefit in a variety of ways.”
