engAGE is the latest project at the Linskill Centre set up by the Elder’s Forum, providing a range of activities and events for people aged 55 or over.

A series of taster sessions have been set up, including a Company and Conversation Club every Wednesday; Creative Writing Workshops on March 1 and 8, at 10.30am; Nordic Walking on March 15 at 10am; Readers Group on March 28 at 1pm; with first aid sessions and tech workshops planned in April.

Older engagement worker Charlotte Mulvaney said: “This project is all about getting people out, getting active and having fun.”

All activities have been devised by older people, for older people, with the specific requirements of over 55s in mind. For more, call (0191) 257 8000.
