Two leading business figures have stepped into the roles of chairman and vice-chairman of the North Tyneside Business Forum.
David Rose, chairman of textile manufacturer FuDa Hobart Rose, and Ken Parkin, managing director of Turney Wylde Construction, will now oversee the direction and activities of the business-focused organisation which seeks to support and unite companies in the North Tyneside area.
They take over from Peter Hedley, ex-Tyne Tunnels manager, who has led the forum for the past two years and who will remain an active member of the forum’s management group.
Mr Rose said: “I am delighted to take over the chairman position and I hope to bring some new ideas and experience to the role.”
