A pharmacy has been officially re-opened following a transformation.
Staff at LloydsPharmacy, in Cauldwell Avenue, Whitley Bay, invited long-standing customer Norman Florence to official re-open the doors.
The store has been transformed as part of a large-scale roll-out across the UK.
Whitley Bay residents can now benefit from enhanced services for a range of conditions at the revamped store, with a particular emphasis on skin health and pain management.
Amanda Lertoria, pharmacy manager, said: “We’re excited by our transformation; we want our new store to become the destination of choice for customers looking for expert health advice.
“Our knowledgeable 10-strong team will be on hand to provide customers with individual expertise on skin health, helping those with skin conditions to effectively manage their condition with product selection support and application techniques.”
Pain management is an area where the Whitley Bay pharmacy team will now offer enhanced support.
Amanda added: “We know many who suffer from long-term health conditions don’t always want to go to their doctor every time they have a question.
“We’re able to support the work of GPs and other healthcare professionals in the area by offering convenient, one-to-one care that our local residents need and deserve.”
