Generous artists are coming together for an exhibition in aid of charity.
The Art with a Big Open Heart Exhibition is raising funds for Save the Children.
Taking place at The Exchange, in Howard Street, North Shields, it will showcase outstanding, bespoke, locally donated arts and crafts available to purchase.
It will launch on Sunday, July 8, with an event from 2.30pm to 6pm, before running throughout July – with a fresh exhibition each week.
The opening showcase will feature live music, entertainment, food, children’s crafts, and the artwork.
All profits raised will go to Save the Children to help the Emergency Fund Appeal.
A spokesperson for the event said: “It is so heart-breaking to watch the terrible atrocities so many children and their families face every day as a result of conflict, famine and natural disasters.
“We are calling on our wonderful community to help create a brighter future for children – please get involved.”
Two previous exhibitions have helped raise more than £5,500. Artists are still able to donate work.
