Notorious crime talks at library

Two former Northumbria Police officers are set to talk about two notorious cases.

Ex-scene of crime officer Norman Kirtlan will be at Whitley Bay Library on Tuesday, May 14, to talk about the story of Jack the Ripper.

And colleague Ian Gillard will also be at the library on Thursday, May 23, to examine the life of Mary Ann Cotton.

Both events start at 7pm. Tickets cost £5 and are available from (0191) 643 5390.
