CHILDREN from the Just Learning nursery at Cobalt Business Park brought some festive cheer to a nearby hotel when they helped to decorate its Christmas tree with their own hand-made decorations.
The youngsters also raised money for Great Ormond Street Hospital with a carol concert in the Village Hotel reception.
As a special treat they visited Santa in his grotto at the hotel and were treated to a meal in the restaurant.
Nursery manager Victoria Solomon said: “We were delighted to be invited to visit the Village Hotel and the children were so excited to be able to hang their decorations on the beautiful tree.
“Everyone made us very welcome and the staff and guests really enjoyed our carol concert and generously donated to the charity.”
Adele Mitchinson, from the Village Hotel, said: “The Just Learning nursery children have kicked off our Christmas in style.
“It was lovely to see them help decorate the tree and the carols were very heart-warming and much appreciated by everyone.”
