PLANS for a proposed development of new homes in Northumberland are going on show next week.
Arch is investing £2.5m in developing 29 new homes on the site of the former Seaton Delaval council offices.
The purpose-built properties will be available to rent, and range in size from one bedroom apartments to two and three-bedroom houses.
The display will include the site plans and details of proposed house types.
Representatives from Arch and the design team will be on-hand to explain more about the design concepts.
Arch Group managing director Peter McIntyre said: “The demand for quality, low-cost rented properties in Northumberland is currently exceeding the current market supply.
“The new homes will be our first major investment in developing a new rental housing offer in the county.
“Our aim is to offer a high-quality range of homes and the Seaton Delaval development will add an exciting new dimension to our existing portfolio of 700 homes in Northumberland.
Arch has appointed design and construction partners Plan B, a consortium made up of the Elliott Associates and Ian Darby Partnership, supported by Shadbolt Consulting.
The plans will be on display on at Seaton Delaval Arts Centre from 2pm to 7pm on Thursday, December 13.
