Youngsters at a borough parent and toddler group have been given a new trampoline from a group of slimmers.
A Forest Hall Slimming World Group elected the Footsteps group as their charity of the year and replaced their broken trampoline and funding some craft activities for the children.
Footsteps, run by Community Church Killingworth, hold twice weekly at The White Swan Centre, for parents to enjoy some time off and talk to other adults without interruption.
Footsteps Coordinator Debbie Laird said, “We are thrilled that Forest Hall’s Slimming World Group chose to donate towards replacing our worn out equipment.
“The new trampoline is adored by the Footsteps children, a fantastic way for them to get exercise whilst having fun.”
