As the Conservative candidate for Monkseaton South in 2015, and now selected to run in 2016, I made a promise to local residents that I would continue to raise issues of concern on their behalf.
In that vein, would the three Labour councillors for that ward like to tell us which of them has declined the 24 per cent allowance increase?
Or which of them plans to oppose the Local Plan, which will see 3,000 homes being built in the ward, with serious implications for current residents?
Or even, if the three councillors plan to hold set ward surgeries, like virtually every other ward in the council?
Residents are waiting for the response, and have been since before the election.
