It will be visiting the school on Friday, June 5.

Hosted by presenter Jonathan Dimbleby, the show features prominent guests from the world of politics, business, science, arts and the media, who answer questions posed by the audience, live on air, giving local people the opportunity to challenge politicians, policy makers, writers and thinkers.

Headteacher Jonathan Morris said: “What a coup for Marden High School and for Cullercoats.

“This is an internationally respected current affairs programme which features some of the country’s most high profile figures, and we are thrilled that they have accepted our invitation to broadcast live from the school.

“We don’t yet know who the guests will be but that just adds to the anticipation.”

Tickets will be available to the public from Tuesday, May 12, on a first come first served basis, from the school reception, and demand is expected to be high.
