Rockcliff lose out at home to Sedgefield

Rockcliff were at sixes and sevens in a game they expected to win after having completed the double over Sedgefield last season.

The visitors got off to a good start, building up an 18-0 lead before Rockcliff got on the score sheet through a penalty try.

They recorded another before the break, but Sedgefield scored an unconverted try and a penalty to see the sides change ends and the score at 14-26.

The second half saw Rockcliff score a single penalty, and Sedgefield increased their advantage by further 10 points to close the game out at 17 -36.
