School's open event to showcase its changes

Norham High School, in North Shields, is opening its doors to showcase its latest changes.

The summer open evening – taking place on Tuesday, June 28 – is open to anyone and everyone and families with primary-aged children are particularly welcome.

The event, which starts at 6pm, has a pirate theme to keep families and children entertained while they take a tour of the school.

Everyone attending will be able to enjoy a free evening meal cooked by the school chef, at the end of the event.

There will also be a range of prizes up for grabs, including a game pass for Pirate Escape, Whitley Bay, vouchers luxury hampers.

The open evening will allow parents, carers, children and the local community to see some of the significant changes at Norham High School, including its brand new Learning Resource Centre. There will also be displays of student work, fun activities linked to science and cookery and sports including trampolining and games.
