Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has been shortlisted in four categories in the prestigious national Health Service Journal (HSJ) awards.

Northumbria Healthcare – which serves 500,000 people across Northumberland and North Tyneside – is up against the very best of the NHS in four categories – board leadership award, provider trust of the year award, Primary care and community service redesign award, and the Secondary care service redesign award.

Over the coming weeks, the foundation trust will complete presentations and interviews with judging panels made up of 85 senior and influential figures from the health sector, prior to the award announcements in November.
