The classrooms start to take shape in Kings Priory School's new sixth form block.

The large-scale project at Kings Priory School, which also included work on the first school site in Percy Park Road and middle and senior schools in Huntington Place, is due to be completed in the coming days.

The modernisation will see a dedicated sixth-form building with a coffee shop, learning resource centre, careers suite, seminar rooms, sixth-form social space and break-out work areas.

Prospective Sixth Form pupils can see the new space at the upcoming Sixth Form Information Evenings between 6pm and 7pm on February 9, February 23, and March 1.

The school is currently accepting applications for Sixth Form for September 2016, details of which are available at www.kingsprioryschool.co.uk

Deadline for applications is March 4.

The school offers a wide range of A-level courses; alongside core subjects such as Maths, English and the Sciences, students are able to opt for less commonly taught courses such as Ancient History and Geology.
