A concert to help raise funds for the victims of the Manchester attack is to take place in North Tyneside.
Wallsend award-winning recording artist Junior Turner has organised the event to raise money for the We Love Manchester Emergency fund, set up by the Red Cross after 22 innocent people died in the bombing in Manchester last Monday after an Ariana Grande concert.
Junior, 33, will be joined by seven professional singers – Shelley, Trudi, Jess Wood, Chris Johns, Kevin Finnigan and Mea Deen – for the night of music and entertainment.
It will take place at the Lindisfarne Social Club, West Street, Wallsend, on Thursday, June 29.
Doors will open at 7pm on the night with all eight acts taking to the stage to perform. Tickets are available from the club and cost £4 each with all ticket sales going to the appeal fund, along with other money raised on the night.
Junior, real name David, has performed in Manchester several times and said he was devastated by what he saw in the attack, which claimed the lives of four people from the North East.
